Port Authority Open House

The Port Authority will hold a Transit Development Plan Open House on Thursday, August 14th from 7 pm to 9 pm in Beechview at McCann Hall, St. Catherine of Siena Church at 1907 Broadway Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15216.

This will be an informal gathering where the public can review information, ask questions and provide feedback on their transit needs and what the study has discovered so far. Hearing about Zone 3 Police: Tuesday, August 12th at 1:30pm

The date for the public hearing to discuss commander changes and low levels of staffing in zone 3 is set for Tuesday, August 12 at 1:30 pm  in council chambers.  Please try and attend, especially if you signed the petition.

You may call the City Clerk’s office ( 412-255-2138 ) to sign up to speak. Usually those who sign up ahead of time get three minutes to speak and those who just show up with out preregistering only get two minutes to speak. The City Clerk’s office should start to notify people who signed the petition.

Invitation to Comment on a Proposed Wireless Telecommunications Facility

Interested persons are invited to comment on the wireless telecommunications facility proposed to be constructed at 1404 Brownsville Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15210, with respect to impacts on historic properties located at or near this facility, if any. The facility will consist of the construction of a 155 foot telecommunications monopole within a 20×40 foot lease area that will house necessary equipment. Comments regarding potential effects to historic properties should be submitted by mail to the Regulatory Compliance Manager at 2001 Butterfield Road, Suite 1900, Downers Grove, IL 60515, or by calling (630)960-8400.
